  8. This is an ongoing work in progress, you run it at your own risk.
  9. These 2.x releases are more bugfixes and minor additions - the 3.x series
  10. will be hugely improved (I hope) ;-)

  12. IMPORTANT: This can use a lot of stack, I know MUI programs say use a higher
  13.  value, but I'm reiterating that. If you don't have at least 32k stack for
  14.  the program it probably will crash at some point!

  34. Some of these, especially the security extensions, will rely on the number
  35. of people registering, If enough people don't register then don't expect me
  36. to do more than bugfix or add minor features, those that require a large
  37. amount of coding need me to *want* to do them, and I won't want to do them
  38. without having enough feedback... Also, the security extensions will only
  39. work on the registered version anyway ;-P

  44. Included is a keyfile that works with the 2.x series - you still need to
  45. register for free upgrades to 3.x which is due later this year.

  58. rc-ftpd version 3 is now in production, so any more changes on here will be
  59. bugixes and/or testing stuff for rc-ftpd3. As the new version is a totally
  60. different internal design, this one would be slower (xfer), user more CPU,
  61. and user more memory than the same stuff in version 3... So register and you
  62. will get a new keyfile with the new system ;-)
